Hitting the ground running

We are ready to start the fourth week of school, and as usual, my days have gone from fairly aimless to full of time crunches. Near the end of class, one 8th grader asked me if there was anything he could do to help me. I asked him to go to Shoppette and buy me an hour, because there weren't enough minutes in the one I had.

Jim is busy with cross country. As usual, I am arranging for buying sweatshirts, and helping him stay organized. I went to the meet this weekend, at which Jim took many out of focus pictures (I think he was trying for some special effects), but I thought the picture in which he only caught a runner's shoe hitting the ground was cool.

I've been walking the course at least 3 times a week, and have noticed real improvement in my knee and overall mobility . . .what a yucky word. Never thought I would have to worry about that!!

Paper Cuts

I found this link through a friend's blog. It's amazing and hard to describe. What this person does with paper cutting and folding is amazing.
